From 2025 to 2026 he was Integration Director in the Office of the Vice Chancellor and President at British University Vietnam, part of Taylor's Education Group. He designed and led the post-acquisition integration of a K-12 school into the group, leading eleven concurrent workstreams and reporting to the Vice Chancellor and President. He established the school's governance architecture, including a joint steering committee, board of management, school council and financial approval matrix aligned with Vietnamese education law and CIS standards, developed its CIS accreditation readiness assessment and pathway, and represented the group at school level with oversight of the head of school. The fixed-term mandate concluded on schedule.

From 2020 to 2024 he was Founding Managing Director of EMASI Van Phuc Bilingual International School in Ho Chi Minh City. Over four years the school more than doubled its enrolment with staff retention above 92 per cent. He built and mentored the senior leadership team, led board and government relations, directed WASC accreditation preparation across two campuses, and took the school through COVID-19 with no loss of enrolment. In 2023 EMASI Schools won the Great Education Award from the British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam.

Before that he was Head of Training Centre at British University Vietnam, where he designed and delivered leadership development for more than 1,000 school principals in partnership with the Hanoi Department of Education and the World Bank, and established A Level pathways in Vietnam's public education system with the Ministry of Education and Training, including at Hanoi-Amsterdam and Chu Van An high schools in Hanoi. Earlier roles were Head of Student Development and Pre-University at BUV, and Head of Department on the Cambridge A Level programme at Taylor's College, Malaysia.

 
Teacher assessment

Since 2024 he has been a Visiting Assessor and Pathway Tutor for the National Institute of Teaching and Education at Coventry University and Tes Institute. He observes and assesses teachers in international and bilingual schools across Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand and Brunei, making formal recommendations to the university on iPGCE and QTS candidates, and mentors candidates through the qualification. The work keeps him in classrooms and gives him a direct view of teaching quality across the region's schools.

Safeguarding

He co-founded ChildSafeguarding.Online in 2024, providing child protection training and policy development for international schools.

Boards and advisory roles

Advisory Board Member, Teach for Vietnam, and HundrED Spotlight on Education for Societal Change. Former Board Member of the British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam and the European Chamber of Commerce Vietnam, and Co-Chair of EuroCham's Human Resources and Training Committee from 2017 to 2024.
