Bilingual Education at EMASI Van Phuc, November 28, 2022
I am so pleased to share with you this week’s High 5 video featuring five highlights from a rich and engaging week for students at EMASI Van Phuc.
This week’s High Five video celebrates the following five highlights:
· EMASI Science and Technology Competition
· Secondary Cambridge Certificate Awarding
· Elementary Student Trips
· Personal Excellence Program
· Britcham Fun Run
What do Astra Zeneca, Girls in Tech and the European Engineering company Fram^ all have in common? Apart from being innovative science and Technology drive organizations, they also sent very senior representatives to be judges in our recent EMASI Science and Technology Competition.
And we ended the week with a great show of community unity at the Britcham Fun Run. Hundreds of our EMASI families came out for the 5km walk to raise money for meaningful charities in Vietnam. Well done to all who participated, overcame the heat and made a difference!
I’m also thrilled to share with you the good news that EMASI schools will be launching the Cambridge IGCSE program for students in grade 9 in the 2023-2024 academic school year. More details of this exciting program will be shared soon.
Students have exams on the horizon and should begin to prepare.
Students will soon also be signing up for new extra-curricular activities in Semester 2 in our Personal Excellence Program. Families will be receiving a link to a Microsoft SharePoint in Semester 2 and will again use their child’s email account to help select their options. In Semester 2, students will choose options from four categories linked to our Mission Statement. These include: Athletics, Academics, Social, and Artistic. The aim is to help our students become well rounded.
Beginning In December we will implement the card reader for our electronic gate. We appreciate your support as this initiative serves one purpose: the safety of our children.
Families are reminded to collect their children from school before 5:30.
Yours in education,
Joshua James
